Heartbroken

Nabs woke me up this morning with the news of the Chapman family. If you haven't read it, please go here. Though we have never personally met Steven, Mary Beth and the family, we feel like they are family. I grew up singing along with Steven. As Nabs and I entered the China phase of our adoption, the Chapman's story became near and dear to our heart.

We have rejoiced over their adoptions...and today...we morn with them over their loss!

Love on those around you. We are only here for a moment, and only God knows just how long that moment will last.

Holy and Most Precious Father, Thank you for the blessings of children and family and love. Help us to remember that eventhough these things are only ours for a blink, they are yours for eternity! Thank you for your mighty power and unstoppable ways. We lift up the Chapmans to you, Lord. Hold them in your mighty hands and love them through this tough time. Thank you for always being near...especially when the tears of sorrow fall. We love you, Lord!
